Besides Sonic being Mario's biggest rival in the olden days of gaming, Nintendo contacting Sega about having Sonic in their game, and the both of them to appear in the same game for the first time, I don't think it will happen. :|
LoL, that video was quite drawn out. I read about that though and I agree that sonic should be in brawl, there's really no reason for him not to. Still All I really hope for is a nice selection of characters like last time and just as many options and modes....

You have to think though they are offering Sega/Sonic games on the VC. Also isnt there confirmation of a Mario/Sonic Olympics game coming out sometime or another. Just a thought, but I think nintendo isn't completely against the idea. I for one could care less if hes in the game because its all about fox for me....

I really don't trust IGN when it comes to those things and in the end, there's really no credible evidence to back up the notion that Sonic will most likely be in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In the end, the only argument people have for it is that there's a large demand for Sonic in the game, which besides the falty logic that composes that argument, one can see by looking at current events and how they happen in a way that's contrary to popular demand (i.e. no on-line multiplayer in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption)
