it's an aquired taste. I personally hate the music on 90% of the EA games, and 80% of what the mainstream likes in general but it's not a biggie to me, if I can I will just turn the music off if it's that bad
It started to bug me about the 4th time I started the game up. I don't much listen to music at all anymore. I used to listen to hip hop (not the junky radio stuff, but the stuff you actually have to dig to find), and now I can't find anything. Music is dead to me.

thats really sad. you should dig around sites like last.fm. about 2% of mainstream music is good. you have to do your own research if you want to be satisfied. Or just dig out the classics. I'd give you recommendations, but I'm not too much of a hip-hop guy. There is good stuff, though. Just turn off the radio. Sorry to go off topic, I just know I'd lose my mind without music. I'd give up wii and tv in an instant to keep a couple good albums. Anyway, I don't like Sonic's music either. I usually start up my stereo in the background.
i personally can't stand most of the crap on the radio these days and i suppose the game music was supposed to "get you into it" but they did an awful job of it. i've found that i'm not exactly good at this game so hearing the start of these songs over and over again is getting to be really grating on my ears.
Sonic music in wii sucks bad, but really bad. It sucks so much that when I play the 16bit sonic in my wii I cant understand at all WHY THE HELL sonic team dont rebuild those classic midi themes! Most of the time I try to ignore those tennagers music crap, but I can only do that when the game is rocking, and the game is rocking when sonic is running like hell. On those stages when u have to control jumps and side wall walking (just like a normal plataform) I got really angry and the music make it a lot worst
i think its just good, not great.... plus i was hoping to hear that classic sonic theme song from back in the good ol sega days, you guys know what im talkin about. might have to make another VC purchase
