I am thinking about buying it but not for sure if I should waste my time and money with it.. Is it a real Sonic game? *meaning sidescroller like Sonic 2*
I used to play Sonic Rush. It's nice that they went back to the 2D side scrolling like the old school Sega ones... it's good, but, I don't know... there are better games out there.
Sonic Rush is good. It plays like the classic 2-D Sonic games - i.e. really fast. The boss fights are 3-D, but play a lot like 2-D. My only real problem with it is that there are a lot of blind jumps and stuff that can screw you up when you're on a roll. But they're not enough to really hamper the game all that much. Definitely worth $20.

(except that one with the big bowser, but omg that was easy, just jump over him and hit the button, wow) And for the rest, it's just, jump on him once, then fire flameballs at him till he dies, or jump on him again.
If you don't mind going from 235 RINGS TO ZERO ALL THE FREAKING TIME DUE TO ENEMIES THAT YOU CAN'T AVOID AT THE TOP OF A JUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The game is a ton of fun.
yes I think that it's a side scroller like sonic 2 and I will gather more information about this game and I will read more topics on this site and I will read them as much as I can and try to go on the internet I heard some were that there is a lot of information about sonic games on the internet when me and my brother were a while back we were talking to some people on the internet and we were talking about all the sonic games you know? and then we would be talking about the way that they should censor the first one and that they need to (and they do) need to clean (which means censor) some of the sonic games why? you ask?, because theres something unchristian about sonic one and sonic 2 and sonic 3 and sonic s and knuckles and don't get me wrong theres nothing wrong with sonic adventure and sonic adventure 2 battle but you know they could have censored there sonic games that need to be censored and then it will gradually get better over e bay.

I got Sonic Rush when it first came out, its loads of fun! it's a proper sonic game like sonic 2 definatly, my only problem with it was that it was a little short and i bought it at full price, but now im sure you could get it on the cheap.

Yes, it does. But they ruined it since one character is faster than the other How much faster? Because it can be like a handicap for my gf ;).. In that case you'll like it. Basically the distance sonic can get in 15 seconds, the other character (Blaze) can do it in 25-30 seconds, or something like that

This game is so F'ing fun, I bought again after trading it in. The music is soo good too. I never got the last level till the second purchase, so that was a bonus for me
