Sonic the Hedgehog remake cheaper then original on VC?

Remake? Do you mean the Sega Master System version? In case you do not know, Sega Master System came before the Genesis/Megadrive and competed with the NES. Sega released both the Genesis and Master System versions of Sonic at around the same time.

The Genesis versions are far superior with better graphics, sound, controls, and pretty much everything else is better.

Also, these are different games with different levels so if you're a Sonic freak you might want both.

Actually the Genesis version came out first. Then they later made the Master System game to make more money since the Master System was really popular in Europe. Neither is a remake. They are both different games.

Also if you want to know, the Master System version had been ported on the Game Gear. Maybe you remember the Game Gear game, it's same game. Sonic 1 Genesis was released before Sonic 1 Master System.

There were also a Sonic 2 on Master System which was released before the Sonic 2 Genesis. It's prouved that in Sonic 2 Master System that it's first appearance of Tails. Sonic 2 Master System was also ported to Game Gear.
