Sonic the hedjehog 3.who good is it?get or not?

iam thinking to get sonic the hedjehog 3.has anyone played or downloaded it?what are your thoughts about it?will you get it;

Sonic 3 is a good game. However, I would choose Sonic 3 & Knuckles since it's the real and planned version of Sonic 3. The Sonic 3 on VC is only the half of a game.

I have Sonic Mega Collection and it's great.
