I've seen screens of both the Wii version and Xbox 360 version and i must say that there really is no huge gap in graphics.
I'm not talking about the Wii and 360 in general, but this specific game.

You won't be saying that when you see it in motion. Probably.
Oh, by the way. You can see some screenshots here:

Looks pretty sweet.

Those aren't Wii screens.
Also, in the Nintendo Power magazine, it looks like someone zoomed in a little too close and made the screenshots a little too blurry and grainy. But you can tell the game looks great.
They're making like two new Sonic games at once? You'll probably never see that with a Nintendo title unless we're talking a simultanious DS/Wii release, or two DS Pokemon games.OvirewSonic Team Japan is a rather large studio, and there is more than one development team inside. Also, Dimps is helping with the development of the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed. It's also quite possible that both games will use the same engine (the "Hedgehog" engine).
I'm pretty sure the wii version is just a direct PS2 port. I know sega said otherwise, but I'm sure they're just lying to keep us from getting upset.goblaaI would imagine that the Wii version will use the same engine that Sonic and the Secret Rings or Sonic and the Black Knight use for graphics.

I would too, but it's sega...and it's a lot cheaper to make one game and port it, than it is two make two games on two engines. Black knight will certainly be using the secret rings engine because it's an exclusive, but unleashed in multiplat and sega will prolly cut corners to save a few bucks.

The scans we've seen from Nintendo Power looked better than a PS2 game, and they were stretched out and in low resolution. I'm more inclined to think that the PS2 version will be a watered-down port of the Wii version, rather than that the Wii version will be a direct port of the PS2 version with waggle. The PS2 couldn't even handle Heroes (it ran terrible compared to the Xbox and Gamecube versions). They're making like two new Sonic games at once? That's because Nintendo is about quality. Apparently Sega is not.

That's a ridiculous statement. SEGA has brought us some of the best third party Wii games to date, including Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Ghost Squad, and NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams. It's just that Sonic Team Japan a much larger studio than the ones that traditionally work on Nintendo games, so naturally they have more teams within and thus more potential games.[QUOTE="Rocky32189"][QUOTE="Ovirew"]They're making like two new Sonic games at once? You and I both know that there's no point in trying to convince Nintendo fans that SEGA games are good. If they wanna continue to think they way they do, let them.

Yet, you've played neither game.

They don't even come close.

They aren't even great games in the first place. He obviously has never played Okami, Boom Blox, Zack and... heck, any Capcom game, if he thinks Ghost Squad, a budget priced, sloppy port of an arcade game is one of the Wii's best third party efforts.

No, they don't. But those are three of the best games of all time. Just because a game isn't one of the absolute best available doesn't mean it's isn't a quality title.[QUOTE="Rocky32189"][QUOTE="famicommander"][QUOTE="Rocky32189"][QUOTE="Ovirew"]They're making like two new Sonic games at once? Well, both Sonic and the Secret Rings and Zelda: Twilight Princess had underwhelming stories.
