How can smash not deliever? They've added EVERYTHING into that game, besides voice chat, which i could live without.. The only thing left that would be nice are leaderboards.

Are we supposed to care? I still want more Wii games than 360 games.

I don't blame you. I got bored of my Wii so I got a 360 and ever since I've only turned my Wii on to play Super Mario Galaxy. And I lost interest half way through. It's not a bad game... It's just that I got distracted by Assassin's Creed and Halo 3.

Honestly I'm considering trading in my Wii. All I have on it is Super Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario and while both games are excelent, it's really not enough to keep the system for. And all I've got to look forward to is Mario Kart Wii and Brawl, and with the Wii's horrible online support(friend codes and no headsets, wtf?) their online components wont be all to interesting. And with out online I might as well be playing Melee and Double Dash.

Is that the best counter argument you can make?

its kind of annoying when you have people complain about stuff when they're unwilling to try half the games on the Wii. Frankly, many are sick of complainers.

I'm not rich enough to buy half the games on the Wii. And If you have half the Wii game library I'd say theres a pretty good chance your a fanboy.

Sick of complainers? To bad. Because your going to continue to see complaints like this unless the Wii gets a decent amount of good games.

the questions not about being rich, you dont have to buy the games, you can rent them -- and having a big library of games on a console = fanboy? I had many ps2 games, i still have many gamecube games, im not a fanboy of either, i enjoyed them both, a lot.

The Wii actually has many good games, they are there. If people arent willing to give them a try, there loss. As for a Generation as a whole, this gen so far is lackluster, doesnt mean they're arent good games, its just not as good as the last one was, at all.

Just because a game exists on the Wii does not mean I should be obligated to play it. I don't have the time or money to even rent and waste my time with half of any console's game library. If theres a good game on a system, most people typically notice through reviews and press. Some people may argue thatjust because most people dislike a game it doesn't mean it's bad, but that is still not enough reason to give every game in sight a rental.

I never said the Wii had no good games, I'm just saying it doesn't have many. And most people will tell you that.

The only games I can really think of that people would call killer apps for the Wii are Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, Loz TP, RE4 and Rayman Raving Rabbids. Two of those games are ports of last gen games and one is a cross platform game(raving Rabbids). That just leaves you with the twoMario games.

And the reason why the gen isn't as good as last is because this gn has barely begun. That and because there are so many freaking multiplatform games. Hardly any 3rd party exclusive titles.

or you could shut up. theres a coice right there

So gecause I don't blindly love Wii like you and see it for what it really is, I should shut up? Nope, sorry. If you wanted Wii praise and love you just got in to the wrong topic.

That's exactly what I've been thinking, so many people are complaining about there not being enough good games. I mean, have you tried other games besides the common nintendo games everybody's heard of and played before? (mario mario mario) There have been quite a few games I had never heard of that I thought I'd try and have liked a lot.

What he's trying to say is not that you're obliged to play them but rather that you can't complain about the games if you hven't played them, and also you're list is missing a lot of games.

Yeah, im saying theres actually many good titles for the Wii, AA, AAA titles on here, IGN, 1up, etc -- hence why i have such a large library of wii games. Ive actually only regreted by 2, because of those games length.

I hate to break up a conversation (except for the insulting posts that don't count as conversation), but this thread has to be locked for three reasons:

1. The original post is about SSBB, even though it isn't mentioned that much. All SSBB talk belongs in the stickied thread.

2. The original message would be better as a blog entry, since it's a fairly personal matter that doesn't ask for any input.

3. The thread itself (incited by the last paragraph of the original post) is the stuff of the System Wars forum. Keep it there.
