I cancelled my pre-order because the only game that was interesting to me was SSF4, but since I was already getting MVC3 for my PS3 there wouldn't be a point. My birthday is in June, and so is E3. I'll wait for more games to come out.

I really wish they had released the red one, too... out of all the colors shown at E3, that was my favorite and would have definitely been my pick barring the release of a good green one.

Well, I have been thinking of getting one in the future. However, I am a little skeptical on the 3D technology of the system. I mean, how good is the 3D effects? I wish there was some way I could be able to preview how the 3D technology looks. I am also interested in the fact that you'll be able to download Gameboy games on the system, but I think that sort of thing requires Wi-Fi (I only have ADSL).
I have pre-ordered one from Amazon.com and learned yesterday that it has shipped. It will arrive sometime today as one of Amazon's local distribution centers is closer to where I live (Claremont, CA).
Mine was bought of Amazon and I'm not sure when I will actually recieve it as all the tracking info went to the person whom bought it for me for my b-day gift..

According to FedEx tracking it will be on my doorstep by the 30th, but who knows if its correct fedex comes up with lame reasons things arent on time...like a snow storm for example...what ever happened to the postal saying of " neither rain nor sleet nor snow shall stop us" i so miss those days.
But after reading about all the issues going on with the 3ds atm im not even sure i want to open mine up till everything is fixed correctly :(
no. im waiting for the 3DSLite. a few too many issues with the hardware for me at the mo. hopefully the Lite will see them resolved though. theres also too many other great games coming out on other platforms so i would rather get those and wait for the 3DSs library to fill out some more.
The 3Ds that was just release has many technical problems, many DS gamers are waiting for new hardware & better games. Nintendo needs to bring out a newer version on the 3DS soon.

Many of the 3DS reviews are saying it is best to wait on 3DS Phase II. If you have made a big investment in the Nintendo DS, backward capability on the 3DS is kinda broken & needs to be tweeked. Nintendo may be able to fix some problems with a firmware update. Of all the games the BEST game is Face Raiders, which is kinda lame that best title so far is the pre installed AR game.

Me and my brother were both about to get one, but I decided a couple of days ago I will not be getting one until some better games come out and he just decided tody that he won't get one either.
I have it preordered... I just need to go to Target to get it now.

I had mine preordered at Target to. When I went to get it they asked me if I had preordered at that store. When I said yes they were like, your the 5th person to come in for preorder from this store and our computers show no preorders. Good thing they still had 10 3ds systems left. I paid $228.61 after taxes with my GF employee discount and my red card discount. Says I said $40.52, not to bad.
Nah, Im not sure if I want to, im happy enough with my DS Lite (it's a bit battered but it still works fine) and im not convinced by the whole 3D gimmick, if im going to get a new portable im going with the PSP2 or whatever they're calling it.
I just bought a House, a car, and still need things like a lawn mower and patio furniture. But I will get one once I have all the "needs" taken care of.
I'll be waiting around a year or so before I get one. By then the older games will be cheaper and the library will have some great titles available for purchase.
I'm not buying the 3DS until Nintendo revives some of its classic franchises, and no i do not mean remakes of 15 year old games. Where is F-Zero? The 3DS seems like the perfect system for an F-Zero game. Massive online races, amazing 3d graphics? Come on Nintendo stop making crap like Steel Diver, and revive one of your cult favorite franchises.
