actually, web-swinging around town is my favorite thing about SP2. Doing it with the remotes is hella cool, but the motions MIGHT(that's a big might) become a little irritating after a while. I'll wait for reviews to see whether I get this one or the PS2 one.

It's a likely possibility this game is just another "test" to see if the controls they chose for the game will work in the future for other developed games.Â
To be honest I am a bit turned off by the Wii controls. I think it would be pretty cool at first but would get old as the game progresses. The problem with using Wii controls as an advatage is that the controls aren't consistantly good. The vary so much by title at this point that you can't say the controls are an automatic plus.

The Wii's controls will definitely be awesome when they maximize the performance of the motion-sensing in future titles. Right now they're mainly just testing it and trying to program it the way it's meant to be played.Â
iono, but it might, but looking at the other wii games that have been on other consoles (Call of Duty 3, Ultimate Alliance), the wii has been suffering in multi-platform games

This is not just a multiplattform port. This is a grounds up game, it is different on Wii.

As I just mentioned, based on EVERYTHING WE KNOW about the game, it sounds much more promising on Wii. So I apologize if the information is making it sound better on Wii.

Tack on? Sorry, but whatever flaws the game has will be the result of it being their first try. This game is a seperate build made specifically for Wii.

Well name one game system that you cant say that for, I mean the six axis may not work for everything, or the GC controller, or the classic controller. I mean controls are controls, standard or motion, if thier good thier good, or they can be bad, it has nothing to do with the system, its all about the devs. All you can do is give them a shot and see how you feel. I am excited about it, people say that it may get old, but thats where the game comes in, its not all about the controls, you can have all the motion control in the world. If you dont give a good game to use it on, then it goes to waste. As long as the game is good and engrossing, you wont even notice the controls after awhile.Â
you forgot to mention that the scale of the city in the ps3 and 360 version are much larger than all others, and in the ps3 version you can play as the new green goblin.

Same here, I can't see SP3 on Wii getting the best score. It's going to get quite the oposite.

What alot of you seem to be misunderstanding is that I am not talking about just the score of one site. Gamerankings.com totals up all of the scores to make the real score of the game, and I am confident the Wii version will come out on top.
Well since Wii is my only new gen system, I'm buying this on Wii. As long as it score at least a 7.5 and I don't have to catch that stupid balloon for the annoying kid in any missions I'll be fine with it.
I just want the game to be fun, and since the devs put alot of effort into making this not just another port, I'm feeling positive.Â
Meh....even if it turns out to be an excellent high scoring game, which is overly hopeful in my opinion, it's still just a Spiderman game. Spiderman hasn't had too many good video games. I can't think of one that was above average.
