I'm thinking of buying SSX Blur. But there are the few things i would like to know about the game.

Are there just a few Uber Tricks?

Can i customize my character? (clothes forexample) And are there only a couple of stuff to choose from?

How is the Multiplayer?

Any frame-rate issues?

1. There are many, but they're very hard to make

2. I dont think so, but you can choose between a variety of skis and snowboards

3. Race is really fun but it's only 2 players, the other modes are up to 4 players

4. EDIT: Now that i think about it, there are quite a few in multiplayer.

Framerate issues are very rare and have no impact on the gameplay at all, which ispretty much always smooth. You can unlock different sets of clothes for every character, but there aren't many (6 I think, not entirely sure). Ubertricks are quite hard to do, there are many of them, including the unlockable ones, but I don't pay much attention to that feature in particular. Multiplayer is hot seat (up to 4 players methinks) or split screen (2 players). The game is fun, allows you relax a bit, the soundtrack is absolutely excellent, graphics are some of, if not THE best on the Wii and the controls are comfortable too, despite being a bit abstract (there isn't a concrete way to perform some tricks, meaning that sometimes it's a bit random).Concluding, I recommend the game.

The graphics werent that great, definetly not the best on the wii. and imo t=he soundtrack sucked. I hated all that music, compared to ssx on tour for the GC which had licenced tracks. I did enjoy the motion controls though, the carving was really cool. overall it was a decent game

Are there just a few Uber Tricks? No, there's plenty. You have to unlock most of them, though.

Can i customize my character? And are there only a couple of stuff to choose from? Only slightly. There's different outfits and boards/skis to choose form.

How is the Multiplayer? It's pretty cool. You can play with 2 controllers, or you can pass off one controller.

Any frame-rate issues? Not really. Just some slight slowdown in places where there is a lot going on.

I though the soundtrack sucked, gameplay is fun but the ubertrick is a bit weird. Doing hearts in the air,etc... I dont really like that.

SSX Blur is an awesome game with great replay value.

First people stop comparing with other SSX, you can't .. remember this is a new console and the only game like that on wii.

I agree I would have like to see more customization or new tracks but for a first wii game I think it's pretty spot on. remember the game came out very early, so there is nothing to compare to !

Next: the Ubertrick .. there's plenty, they need to be unlocked. I think it's fun having to draw a shape with the remote, and it's not that hard. practice makes it perfect !

And no one is mentioning the Grabs ????

To grab your board you press Z (I think) and you twist the nunchuck. each direction will do a different grab. Pretty cool.

I really think that SSX Blur exploit fully the capacity of the Wii motion technology.

SSx is a must have.
