woah woah just because IGN gave SSX a fair review does NOT make them very reliable. They gave Sonic a 6.9 and it's one of the best wii games!
IGN's a good site, especially for their vids, but to think I would have held off getting Blur just for their opinion... well that's ridiculous.
at least they have proper complaints about games not like gamespots "it's frustrating" when they think a game is too diffecult, which is a rediculous complaintwoah woah just because IGN gave SSX a fair review does NOT make them very reliable. I agree. Plus, there are a lot of mixed reviews for Blur. I'm still getting it anyways though.

I dunno, the review where God Hand for ps2 got a 3/10.... well let's just say they lost some credibility there.
Although IGN' reviews for the most part are better than GS, there's always mixed reviews for wii games. Consider Excite Truck, Sonic, Elebits, and more recently SSX. For every critic that raves about it, there's some douche complaining about it.
As far as the wii is concerned... you just CAN'T trust critics most of the time.
I disagree, I rented Sonic Wii the other day, and I returned it early. I had the same complaints that Matt C. had about the game. It's fun, but it is ultimately got a broken control scheme, and I think that the level designs are far from brilliant. They have so many obstacles and enemies that you cannot keep up your speed.woah woah just because IGN gave SSX a fair review does NOT make them very reliable. I game on my PC for the most part and feel GS reviews of Wii games have been dead on. I have yet to play a Wii game that has worthy controller mechanics. I see a ton of mini games, very simplistic IMO but no games that really give me what I expected out of the Wii.
I know a ton of people say give it time and they will be able to utilize the remote with more precision but I'm really starting to wonder if the Wii has the ability and if the remote is just too sloppy to program a real good game for it. The game with the least amount of glitches that Ive played is still madden a release game, so uhh wheres the beef!
All that said SSX im hoping will be a fun game with some more replay value than most of the Wii games. Ill rent it first as I do with most games to make sure its worth the price.
