Has anyone heard any news about star wars battlefront 3? I have both 1 and 2 and i completely love the series. So is there gunna be a number 3 or was battlefront 2 the best they could get? And if so, for wii? I think it would be really great to have Star Wars Battlefront 3 for wii. So does anyone know anything about it?
I just heard that there is going to be one. I don't know what it will be on but I don't know about the Wii, it was never on a Nintendo console before, anyway, the appeal would likely be to play it online and it would require strategy, I wouldn't really want to play it on the Wii if I had another choice.

I believe there was a trailer for BF3 a little while back that included the Wii as supported hardware, but the studio who was developing it was shut down I think. The franchise is too big to abandon completely though, so I'm sure we'll see a new game sooner or later.
Free Radical was in the process of making Star Wars Battlefront 3 but they closed their doors while making it and from the looks of what they had they had no intention of making a wii verison but i heard that the people who made the PSP verison of Battlefront will take over on Battlefront 3 i dont see a wii version happening but u never know.
It would be awesome for Battlefront to be on Wii. I have heard a lot of talk about it though I don't know know for sure. Yeah it would be awesome but for those who like the classic controller for this you should be able to use the gamecube controller and the wii classic controller as well as the wii mote and nunchuck

was in development from free radical before they went bust it was passed to some cheap b-rated company afterwards, and all the good tech ripped out of it (you were gonna be able to fly from the land up into orbit and board a star cruiser (there's a video on ign showing this off) it's just gonna be a battlefront 2 follow on with better graphics now...
