Is there a star wars game coming out for the WII? This would be really cool, especially lightsaber fights. Any knowledge would help. Thanks

I don't think lucas arts has anounced anything but it would be awsome if they did make a star wars wii game

probably since the wii can't run a 360/ps3 port and they dont feel like developing one for the wii

My hunches are that that game was long in development for those systems and now that t wii has been out for alittle bit, then LucasArts woudl hopefully be building a star wars game just for the wii b/c of the unique controller. Even though the ps3 came out the same time frame as the wii( afew days), it is prob alot more similar to the xbox360, so they were prob able to port and polish it on the ps3 fast enough.

All my guesses though.

It will happen eventually. The last generation of consoles got a bunch of Star Wars games.

Yeah at comic con they were all for the idea, so i expect to see one at some point, especially with the Wii's market share continuing to grow.

hopefully, a starwars game would be best suited for the wii, push the wii mote forward(force push), pull it back(force pull), etc.

assuming that lucasarts feels obligated to make a game for the wii because of the wiimote, i hope they take their time to make it a high-quality game.

The newly announced Star Wars game for 360 and PS3 is also being made for PS2 and PSP. It says so on the official site. So the game MIGHT come to Wii but I hope its not this one cos it'll probably be a rushed port. I want an original game. Yes, with lightsabre action.

shortly after E3 last ear they were showing interest in a lightsaber/FPS starwars game, but nothing has been official

Its annouced for all next gen systems, PS2 PSP and DS. So basically its going everywhere, including the Wii.
