Still can't find a Wii.

I thought that if I waited until after Christmas ther would be plenty of Wii's on the shelves. FOR F**KS SAKE it's been three months since and still you have people chasing the UPS truck on it's way to Gamestop! You look on the internet and all you see are bundles for $500 and up. There's no way in Hell that I'm going to pay that much just to play the new Zelda, Mario, and Smash Bros. Hell I can illegally download and play most of the virtual games right now on my PC. You may say it's dishonest, but I don't recall Nintendo at a loss of hardware way back when they brought out the NES in '85 or the SNES in '90.

I camped out and got mine on launch, so that was cool...but I was at my FYE last weekend and they had four just piled out in the window. I might be back tonight or later this weekend to pick up Brawl, but I'm sure they're still there.

Well, there were enough of them the last 10 Sundays when my 6 friends and I went to Best Buy to each buy one to resale. The real problem for me is that at one time I was able to get over $500 for a Wii. Now, I can barley get $400 out of one. krimla

calm down... sunday get up early and go to walgreens at 4 am or where ever is open 24 hours and sells newspapers. Then read the ads and with brawl coming out there will be stores like toys r us or best buy that will have so many wiis in each store for sure. Go straight from the walgreens to the place that will have wiis and camp out till the store opens. Yes it isnt ideal but heck it will get you a wii in just a couple days. ag1052

Gee, that sucks. I woke up at 4am on Black Friday the year it came out to get my Wii fair and square. I have a possible solution. If you're good at Smash Bros., go to your local Game Stop at 10 pm and participate in the Tournament. The prizes include $5000, a Plasma screen TV, a Nintendo game library, and (dun dun dun!) If you work on Sundays, you are definitely going to have a hard time getting one. The best way is to get the Sunday paper on Saturday if the paper in your town does this because many do. See who's advertising and go camp out. Otherwise check smaller stores who sell them as they get them.DrewBlood08

Those aren't for sale, those are display boxes. Plus everytime I call FYE I get the same ***** woman who cuts me off before I can ask if they have any and verbally molests me. I hate that place :(

Wow, thats backwards. Although I guess the last couple times I've been to the store, all 360's and Wii's, and more than usual PS3's have been missing from the shelf.
