I was thinking about that when I made the topic. I think it's kind of funny. "MASATOG is comes out tomorrow!" I like to pronounce it how it looks.. :lol:
It shows how crazy some internet abreviations can get. Trust me, I'm no genius when it comes to abreviating. "Loz:LttP" "SatSR" and plenty of others have confused me.
LOL, MASATOG :P Well, I can relate. When I was first a new player in Ragnarok Online and I asked for help and advice people were like "If you wanna be an aco, go to GH to LVL UP and use BW to get out and WG for free. Go to GH Pris and HB the ZombiePris there" and it was really annoying at first :P
Sorry but the worse is in Massive Multiplayer RolePlaying Games, argh what a mouthful when you get some nerdy guy rambling on about his gear and never finishes a damn word it is all abreviated it bothers me more then game titles when you cant understand what is siad in the game.

rofl im so gonna sig that. and abbreviations are annoying. i would look at stuff like GeOW and MP3 and WoW and think wtf are those. but u get used to it with simple game titles. the long titles are annoying, like masatog for example.
ROFLMAO, ur so right. i mean we're just getting lazier and lazier all the time. i don't mind these abbreviations and stuff during y'know msn talk or gamespot forums etc. (lol msn was another example) but its when people start saying LOL out loud rather than just laughing that relli gets 2 me. it'z just so unbelievably lazy

Like I said before, I'm not a genius when it comes to abbreviating games/internet lingo. I don't blame you for MASATOG, but it's such a long name(Hehe.)... Would you prefer M&S@TOG? I'm mean, wouldn't want an abbreviation?
There are more then one way to shorten titles, and abbreviation are one of them. Just calling it Mario and Sonic is easier in this case. Ditto with Zack n Wiki.

Yeah. But MASATOG seems special.. when people see it, they get neat emotions. "Whaaa?!" "Huh." "Arrgh!" and "HAHA!" are just some of the neat things you'll experience with MASATOG. But honestly, I would choose Mario and Sonic.
I get confused with abbreviations sometimes but nothing better than some minutes of thinking. By the way this topic is becoming a : Guess what the abbreviation means! XD

As you increans in your gamespot experience, so shall you knoledge of Abreviations. That said, not even a level fourty could translate MASATOG, but stuff like TP, SMG, andSSBBis essential.
