Would all the NES games ever made fit on ONE blu-ray disc?Dilan120No, but maybe they could do it with all the Atari 2600 gamez.
[QUOTE="ThePlothole"]I imagine that they could all fit on one regular DVD. Heck, they may all fit on a single CD-ROM! Sants412It would definetly cut it close.
EH, that who knows. NES games were only a few hundred KB at most.

Let's just that the average game was around 50KB (i know some bigger, but many more smaller)
If 1MB equals 1024KB that is a total of about 20 games in 1MB,
A DVD can hold roughly about 4.37 GB (GigaBytes) which is well over 4,000 MB. So 20(games) X 4,000 = 80,000. I don't believe that there are close to 80 thousand games on the NES. Then we can get into the double layer stuff.
Since you did ask about a blue-ray disk, well, they can hold from 30GB to 50GB, you decide, you can do the math there.
Does anyone know where I can find an all list of games for NES? I tried looking for a master list. I think that Kirby's Adventure for the NES was the biggest game in file size.
