OMG a fox news reporter is gonna molest children! LOL no1 uses pictochat anyway and hardly anybody plays it and the person you will be talking to is probobly a neighbor so there is no problem with it!
lets think about it, if a molestor was stupid enough to sit around with a ds in pictochat and a child for some reason WASNT PLAYING A GAME and instead was wandering around looking for people to talk to on pictochat the molestor mit be able to communicate wiht them for a good few minutes before they got to far away.
and that 300 foot thing was bogus, it was in a wide open room wiht no interference and i dont really think that was 300 feet>.>
wow so lame. The only I time ever used picochat was at work or at school with nothing elseto do. because cell phone are off limits but games arnt, I seriously doubt anything could seriously happen. Just another thing blown out of porportion
yeah umm.... no one uses pictochat, no one just randomly looks for people to talk to in pictochat, people go to the mall to hang out and buy things not play ds, and i would just love to see a pedophile try to send a pictochat message while driving and then stay in range. This is such crap! Why dont the news companies focus on important things not a feature on the ds that is pretty much useless and harmless. Fox needs to shove this story back up their a*s!
only fox news would bring us a storey that stupid, if some one starts talknig to you just sign off problem solved, and how did they manige to make it work over that long i cant get it to work any thing over 66 feet or so.
Pictochat is one of those things you try out when youfirst get it or when you have absolutely nothing to do. And who would be stupid enough to tell someonethey don't know over an electronic devicetheir address? (Somewhat sarcastic, peopledo it all the timeon the computer). Common sense people! I bet that there might be a time whena child really is kidnapped because of info given from pictochat and so news channels and the cops will trylure them in using pictochat. And then they'd broadcast it on TV so mothers will start panicing and start complaining moreabout video games. I would just sit back and laugh (except for the fact a child had been kidnapped and who knows what else, sickos).
yea, ive seen that. Thats the dumbest, pathetic News stories ive ever seen, its so pathetic. I actually feel liike calling FOX headquarters tomorow and complaining about it.

the only time i used pictochat was the day i got the ds and got bored with it pretty fast, i havent even used it for about 9 months, and hey who can blame me, with games like Jump Ultimate Stars and EBA out who would settle for pictochat. Fox just needed a story and it was a really poor excuse, i could at least think of 2 more handhelds that are more dangerous.
That was really stupid. I don't use Pictochat. But still, I have the common sense to just shut my DS off if someone I didn't know really did start talking to me, if I did decide to use it. I don't bring my DS to public places anyways. Great way to get it stolen. I bet they just ran out of ideas for news stories.
