Suggest any games for young players?

Anybody have game suggestions for my 6 year old? He's pretty proficient on the PS2, but I'm considering a DS, and wanted to know what younger kids games are available...

Many games on the DS are "accessible" for everyone, rather than for young people. Its more, what wont he enjoy? So yeah, it would be great for him.

Is he good at puzzles or do you think he will be? He and you both will enjoy Professor Layton and the Curious Village.

Mario Kart, Cooking Mama and New Super Mario Bros are good games that he shoudl be ok at playing. You will like them too. I am 32 and play all sorts of games myself.
