or get real smb2:the lost levels. Actually, smb2 that came out in us, is actually SMB:Lost Levels, and SMB:Lost Levels that only came out in JP, was actually SMB2, the real one! Nintendo did that cuz they thought that the gameplay would've got old.commonsenselife
I believe it was also because they thought the real SMB2 would be too difficult for American audences. It's the same reason they tweaked SMB3 to make it easier in the US. (eg. orginally one hit would reduce you to regular Mario, regardless of which powerup you had)
3 is the one to get 1 is a classic to but my favorite is 2. sphinx-shadow
My favorite was always SMB2 as well. Good to see somebody else who feels the same way. :)

Okay, I think by now everybody mustknow this story. I heard it like from 7 different places now. Anyway go with SM3. I haven't played it yet myself, but I know that it's widely regarded as the greatest game for the NES.
