I was playing Super Mario Galaxy a few days ago and I remembered that I loved the music in the game. It's some of the best music I've heard in a Nintendo game, besides the Metroid titles. It's really great -- Herea link to most of the songs.

Do you guys agree? What is your favourite soundtrack from a Nintendo title if not Galaxy?

I agree completely I got the import CD for it and it was well worth the price, the one song that really stands out to me is Buoy Base Galaxy it's epic. i also really like metroid prime 3's soundtrack

SMG's soundtrack is brilliant. Really, i couldn't decide which game has the best soundtrack. For me it would be between SMG, Mother 3 and SSBB.

Yeah. None of the songs beat 'Dire Dire Docks' from Super Mario 64, though. Best videogame song ever imo.

SMG's soundtrack is wonderful, not doubt about that. Although, I personally perfur Brawl's soundtrack but they both sound great.

Okay so I just listened to them all. Really, when an orchestra plays it, it immediately makes the music sound more epic.

I agree with fleig that Buoy Base music is awesome. I also like:

Bonefin Boss music (chase music)

Ghostly Galaxy music (relaxing music)

Good Egg Galaxy music (epic music)

Gusty Garden Galaxy music (epic music)

Gateway Galaxy theme (epic music)

Space Junk Galaxy music (relaxing music)

The most annoying music is the Obstacle Course music, but that's probably cuz I had to hear it overandoverandover in the game...

The Good Egg Galaxy was far by the best for me in that entire game. Love the music in that game.

Eh, I wouldn't consider it good, but that's only cause it's not very memorable. I can't remember any of the music from the time I played Galaxy...

Yes, I agree. Super Mario Galaxy has one of the best soundtracks of any Wii games.

Yeah this game's soundtrack IS amazing. Right up thier with OoT and Donkey Kong Country 2.

Nothing, absolutely nothing beats the Ending Music after you beat the game. So epic. Gusty Garden is a close second.

Haha, absolutely! I remember playing that level over and over only to hear the theme song! Would you agree with me, though, that the "Space Junk" theme in Galaxy fills the same niche as "Dire Dire Docks" did in Mario 64?
