super mario galaxy: luigi's ****ing difficult uber purple coins of death help

ok, i get the general consept, but how do i go about it to actualy defeat it?, every square on the thing is a bloody TRAP :cry:

theres 150 coins you only need 100, so dont worry about getting them all

leave a path for yourself at the beginning to get back later on to get the star. Its not as hard as everyone says, keep trying you'll get it in 5-6 tries (i did). If you think its hard wait til you get to dreadnought's purple coins (its my last star, lava spire daredevil is EASY so dont worry about what everyone else says)

If you just go near clusters with a lot of coins, you'll get 100 coins in time. It took me a while to learnthat there were more than 100 coins too. The same for the boneyard one and the puzzle cube one. They should really tell you at the beginning how many coins there are in the stage.The_Gr8_Leon

There's actually a sign that says "There are 150 coins" right by the start of the level. I didn't realise there were 150 for a whil either.....

PS: I actually got all 150, it's freaking hard!
