Super Mario Galaxy is the better game overall, and a must have in a Wii owners collection. Amazing single player. It didnt win Game of the Year for nothing

Anyway, get both if you can. If not, decide whether you prefer single or multiplayer more. Once you do, buy that game and get the other as soon as you can.

If you have friends to play with, or online go with Mario Kart, and then save up for Galaxy. If not, do it the other way around :P
