same hereSuper Mario based Role Playing Game originally released on the SNES. I assume the TP is talking about a re-release on the Virtual Console and not a new sequel or something. We don't know when it will come out or if it will at all. I assume by the end of the Wii's cycle we will be able to download EVERY game from the past but they never promised anything so I'm not holding my breath. So my answer is... probably within the next 5 years:)
Also: If you want to play something similar get Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga(GBA) or Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time(DS). They are very similar.
You guys have never heard of it... omg. gasps. probably my 2nd favorate game ever. its such a great rpg. squaresoft and nintendo teamed up to create one of the best Snes games ever.
as for the quesiton i have no idea when its coming out. we just have to sit back and pray for a quick coming.

My Dentist had a SNES at his office. I played this game so many times, it was amazing! We had tons of games and 2 SNES, but when he moved to a different office, he THREW THEM AWAY!!! Now the games are not as addicting. We can now choose from ATV Offroad Fury 2 for PS2, and Mario Party 5 for GC. If he sold those old gaming materials, he could have made some money. OR given it to me!

Im also waiting for that game. It was the best game for the snes and believe me Ill get it for my virtual console. And yes it will be the only game Ill actually pay to play again.
Man that game brings back some memories. I'm only 16 so I was probably around 7 when i played this. I remeber play this, super mario bros, mario kart,and a mickey mouse game lol. Good times, Good times.
take mario get rid of platforming and ad rpg elements. it was fun but shortExcept there were still platforming elements. The battle system is turn-based, a lot like the old Final Fantasy games, but there were no random battles. You could see all the baddies, which is always nice. The premise of the game is that Bowser has kidnapped the Princess again. So you go to his hideout to kick some ass... until a giant sword floats down to Earth and crashes into Bowser's Keep. Mario, Peach, and Bowser each fly off in different directions, and as the story goes, you need to collect the Seven Stars and defeat "Smithy" to repair Star Road. Just a great game from start to finish...
