I don't see why people would even want to play this game, let alone pay ten dollars for it. it's the worst of all three!
I don't care for any of them personally, so maybe it's just me

I still own a 64 and don't own a GameCube anymore. Haven't played Brawl. True, Melee was better than the first, but somehow not being able to hold your smashed for a while for force made the first better in that way. Plus, if the original had characters like Peach and Marth, It'd be waaaaay better.
What I'm trying to say is it's a game I still want to own. I've played it many times over but never owned it.

finally someone that know how to legally use emulators... but why not playing the original then :P Actually, that's STILL illegal. Unless you were the one who specifically took the cartridge and dumped the rom onto your computer. And even then its legality is a grey area.
