I hear WW link, ridley, Sonic, andBowser JR. are possibilities in brawl, and I want to know what other people think their chances are. I also want to know any other ideas for charachters, or even ATs.

Btw, this is one of my first posts, so don't flame too much...

WW Link and Bowser Jr. was a rumor from like a year ago that Nintendo disproved, but I guess there might be a small chance. I want to see more Starfox characters, just as long as they're not the same as Fox/Falco. Maybe Slippy because he is the most different out of all the starfox characters. I also want to see more less popular characters, like Pit and the Ice Cimbers, who had 1 game each.

sonic isnt even a rumor people are just hoping hes in the game ( me to )

There is basis to the Sonic rumours.
-Nintendo said that he was the most requested third-party character
-A SEGA producer said that he wanted Sonic in the game, but it wasn't up to him
-Matt from IGN wrote in his blog after Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games was announced that Sonic would indeed be a part of the game.
-The game's creators said that 1-2 more third-party characters would be added
-The game is supposed to feature a roster of around 40 characters. There were 20-something in Melee. Someone has to fill those spots.

I think sonic is going to be in the game b/c after the nintendo guy anounced mario and sonic at the olymoics he Said " this battle will continue on brawl !"8)

"Japanese fans were asked to submit their desired characters and musical themes via a forum on the game's official Japanese site, with some possibly appearing in the game. Likewise, fans from other countries were asked to submit ideas on Nintendo's official forums.

Suggestions were no longer being taken as of June 9, 2006. In August 2006, Sakurai and Miyamoto stated that Nintendo is negotiating rights to other third party characters. Around the same time, they also stated that Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog was the most requested third-party character. "

nintedo has already anouced its 1st mario sonic crossover and they are keeping very quiet with brawl. why so quiet? new items would keep them quiet new levels wouldnt keep them quiet ether so it must be new chars so now with a sonic mario game already coming out sonic is a big possiblity. konami is already giving snake out maybe yu gi oh and ninnja turtles. hopefully contra and Castlevania chars

Melee had I think 25.

Sonic is probably a shoe win cause of Mario and Sonic. I am guessing a Castlevania character will be the next contendeder. Because Simon Belmont and Snake came from the same Smash BNros clone game on GC in Japan back in 04. Just a guess......

Definitely! i dont think they should have WW link. Bowser Jr., maybe, but he would be a good AT also. as 4 ridley n sonic, YES!!!

You failed to seem to mention that Sonic and Mario olympics was the first game to feature Sonic and Mario in it together. http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=25503898 His theory makes alot of sense. In other words I wouldnt get to excited, It seems Sega has been helping all systems atm. So yeah they could make a Halo vs Sonic olympics, but yet it wouldnt make sense to put sonic in Halo 3.
