I have to disagree with the majority of you. I don't understand the irrational love affair with Brawl. It's a good game, but Mario Kart is superior. Most of you Brawl people have admitted MK has better online play. Well aren't these games primarily mp games?
MK has the MK Channel, dowloadable ghosts, online leaderboards, 32 tracks, and generally lag free gameplay with up to 12 racers.
SSBB is laggy most the time, and has close to no online features. It has a more fleshed out local mp, but its not much of an improvment from Melee, and certainly isn't innovative for the series like Kart.
Both games have a ton of characters, levels, and good gameplay (although Kart actually TAKES ADVANTAGE of the "revolutionary" motion controls, which is one of the console's main selling points.
MK is an overall better game.
