Super Smash GC controlled?

Every one is saying that Super Smash Brawl is going to be GC controlled and I think that it won´t.

Because I just love the game BUT I don´t have it. So I don´t have a GC, only the WII and if I wanted to play it I would have to buy GC controllers?

I have still not heard the developers say "the game will use the GC controller", so I'm still waiting..Litchie

They said "Lets just say, You might not want to throw out your gamecube controllers just yet" which is pretty close.

Edit: Oh, and I hope it uses GC and Classic controller, that way it may be possible to have 8 players!!!

I know they said that, and I think it means "we aren't sure yet, so keep your GC controllers". It still doesn't mean that it will be played with a GC controller. They also said this a pretty long time ago..

I hope they will find a good way to play with the wiimote and nunchuck, without making Smash Bros. Melee players feel like they are worse at playing Smash Bros. than before.

Sakurai isn't stupid enough to make the game not use the Wiimote + nunchuck combo. The game will probably have the option to use the Classic Controller or Gamecube Controller.

What about using the Wiimote??
