Surfing the Web on You Wii!!!

Hi all,

Is it possible to surf the net such as GOOGLE.COM on your Wii???

Becasue there is an internet channel that you can purchase of wii shop and its called "Internet App" or something like that..

Do i need to change some sort of configuration or something to well surf the net?????

[]Note: I can connect to Online Game Servers, All i wanna know is the program or setting i gotta change to surf the net if thats possible[]

Yes, it's very possible.

You use "Internet Channel" which acts as an internet browser. You can download the Internet Channel off of the "Shop Channel" using your internet connection via WiFi. In this internet bowser there is an on screen keyboard that pops up everytime you need to type something. You navigate through web pages using the Wii-Mote's motion sensing pointer which acts like a PC's mouse.

I find the best use for the Wii's internet browser is watching full-screen Youtube videos on your T.V.

I forgot the exact cut off date but awhile back the Internet channel used to be free. It works like a normal web browser but it gets annoying with that whole on screen keyboard thing. I would really advise you to save your $5 or use them to buy another virtual console game.

I mean, it looks like you can "surf the web(as the kewl kids say)" fine right now :)
