I believe so, yes

I'm not really the type to look at trailers, previews and the like for video games, because I know better than that. The only reason I clicked on your links was because the moment I read the word 'instantaneous' I got goosebumps.
A Tales game that didn't require 5 seconds to load up a battle? Heck this is what I've been dreaming for, the battle starts like that *snapping of fingers to prove a point imminent* and is fast paced, which is what all rpg's should be like. I don't care whether it's the random encounter like or the meet the enemies on the screen type.
I'm going to be so sad if this turns out to be false...
Looks awesome, my most anticipated game for sure. The new battle system looks awesome and actually, now that I see it in full motion, it doesn't look as drastic as a change as I thought it would be. It's more instantaneous, but still similar to how it used to be. Except now your can rotate completely around the enemy. Looks awesome.
Hmm, looks interesting. I like the graphics, and the battlin' seems fun. Might pick it up after all the other Wii games I need to get.:P
You should move this game up to number 1! For me it's this game 1 New SMB Wii 2 Arc Rise Fantasia 3 Crystal Bearers 4Hmm, looks interesting. I like the graphics, and the battlin' seems fun. Might pick it up after all the other Wii games I need to get.:P

Yah, but I've got SO many games I want, like Little King's Story, Muramasa, and Red Steel 2, on top of the fact that I'm trying to get a 360, which if purchased, will deplete all my $$ reserves for Christmas and my next birthday (in March).
I'm thinkin' 'bout not gettin' the 360, but it's such a hard choice.
it looks very average and repetitive to me, like some asian online game like flyff etc.And the squealing is just insane!

LOL Flyff is a horrible game.
Fly for fun guyz!
Tales is a much better series/game than Flyff, trust me.

Thanks for posting this one; probably the best video yet. This game looks better and better every time I see it. Man I hope they announce it officially for North America soon.ive never actually played a "tales of" game (unless you include monkey island :P ) but this looks like something i may have to check outstarwarsjunkyI suggest you look for Tales of Symphonia for GameCube and play it on your Wii if you have one. The Tales series is great.

I don't think there is yet. I am a bit worried but I think we'll get one because all of the mothership tales as far as I know have been released in the US. I'm waiting for this and Vesperia on PS3 to be announced in NA and I will be happier than a pig in slop. The game looks sweet!!!! Is there a NA release date?

Guys this is Team Destiny were talking about. They havn't released a Tales game in the US since Tales of Destiny for the PS1. With the game at 70% completion, the chances of this game coming to NA is silm.

They are not the Developer or the Publisher?

Team Destiny is a developing team that works in Namco that developes and publishes Tales games. There are three of these team developers, from what I heard of, Team Symphonia, Team Abyss and Team Destiny. Team Destiny made Tales of Destiny 2 (the actual sequel to Tales of Destiny) and Tales of Rebirth. Both games were never localized in NA or Europe.

Yeah but that was a long time ago. Nowadays all of the mothership titles are localized. I'm confident we'll see this one. The series is much more popular now.I'm still on Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World.
This looks fantastic! The artes look cool and the battles seem much more fast-paced.
Now THAT's more like it, Namco! This looks like a Tales game with some effort and heart put into it, which is something I definitely didn't see in Dawn of the New World. I'm impressed at how the visuals have come along since the earlier showings of this game, the combat continues to show promise, and those load times (or lack thereof) are simply superb. I'm pleased to say that this is starting to shape into the Wii's answer to what the original Tales of Symphonia was for the GCN, which makes me VERY happy. Great Wii efforts ftw!
For all that is good in the world, Namco, please keep this up! Like Symphonia, I'll definitely be one of the first to pick up this game and show it off if it ends up as good as it looks right now.
weird colored hair people p1ss me ofF so much!!!! but im craving for an rpg and the only ones i play would be tales games (tales of symphonia is my favorite RPG game ever.... well maybe not diablo 2 if that counds) :D Heck, symphonia is the only jrpg i've ever finished and i've owned like maybe 10ish. i only finished the two symphonias cause abyss's characters pissed me off and the ps2 was lagging like crazy, legendia was short and boring so i stopped in the character chapters.
EDIT: also, the magic looks better. i dunno if its just me or cause i havent played symphonia 1 in a while but symphonia 2's magic looked weaksauce. heck, all the moves in symphonia 2 looked weak. except for the finishers, which i think probably looked better in symphonia 1 :P. of course, it might have to do with cell shading.

Release day purchase without doubt.
What if it sucks? I'm glad I waited for reviews for ToS2. Just cuz the review for TOS2 was bad doesn't mean it was a bad game. I really liked it. It obviously wasn't as good as TOS but if you want a decent story and characters and the typical fun Tales battle system then you are good to go. It just reviewed bad because it wasn't as detailed as a mothership Tales title. Still fun though and if you like TOS then you will probably like TOS2.What if it sucks? I'm glad I waited for reviews for ToS2. two main differences with TOS2 and graces graces is a mothership title (i.e, it will get good treatment) where as TOS2 was a spin off sequel that wasn't worked on by the main symphonia team. Granted, graces will be worked on by the destiny team (i've never played the two destiny titles, but according to fans they're really good) and like i said, it's a mothership title anyway. they're gonna put work into it.[QUOTE="redfield_137"]
