And no, they don't exactly found out anything. Kratos leaves earth to wonder with the cruxis base forever in space.

Oh...um, I guess you still had a ways to go. It's a bit hard for me to remember all of it.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Basically after you finish the shadow temple, the seed of the giant Kharlan tree freaks out because it's unstable...destroys a bunch of stuff. You fix it. They all decide that they want to reunite the worlds.

Mithos / Yggdrasil reveals that he set up the system to stop people from having enough mana for war...and that the chosen is really just a family line that has been specially bred to match the mana signature of his dead sister (martel) so he can revive her. Lloyd goes to get the eternal sword by fighting the summon spirit Origin (after fighting Kratos who is his Dad). He wants to use the sword to reunite the world (remember it was Mithos' sword before). It is revealed that Lloyd's "special exsphere" was designed to evolve into a crucius(sp?) crystal.

Lloyd finished off Yggdrasil who freaks out and decides to wonder off into space with his sister (who is dead). Yggdrasil somehow makes Deris Karlan drift away from the two worlds (it was the main source of mana for the seed of the tree. While it's drifting away, Lloyd tries to use the sword to reunite the worlds, but can't because Deris Karlan is too far away...so then his exsphere evolves or whatever...he gets wings and flys after Deris Karlan. Then they use the sword to reunite the worlds.

The end...and for what happens to the characters:

Lloyd and Collet go on a journey to collect and destroy all the exspheres

Genis and Raine decide to work on making Half-Elves more accepted in the society

Regal uses the money from his company to restore damages and stuff

Presea's "Time" starts to move forward again

Sheena becomes the new cheif of her village (Corrine becomes a new summon spirit of peoples' hearts or something)

Zelos either a) Dies after betraying you (then Kratos rejoins your party) or b) pretends to betray everyone and then actually saves everyone

The ending of the Tales games are usually unsatsifying. I hope the sequel of ToS is a reality to clearify a lot of things. Outside of Lloyd and Collette, we have to assume the endings for others.alpax

We know that Genis and Raine wasted their lives since half-elves are still discriminated against 4000 years later in Tales of Phantasia :twisted: (sorry I just hate Genis, he's a nazi)
