I think it would be awsome if the original NES Tecmo Super Bowl was released as a VC for the Wii but with updated teams, rosters, etc. Does anyone agree with me? In my opinion, there was not another more fun and addictive football game to ever come out and this includes all of the Maddens (which I am also a big fan of. Tecmo Super Bowl for the NES (and also the remake for SNES) were the best.

I know Madden's out but no matter how good any Madden is, I was obsessed with TSB and I still continue to play the original from time to time. I have Madden 07 and still would buy TSB if it came out for VC. The more I think about it though, since EA has the "Exclusive NFL License", my idea will not be coming true any time soon. I would still love to play TSB on VC someday and hope it comes out. By the way, my team (the Lions) were MUCH better when the original came out.
Tecmobowl was the title of the nes version. I don't think it was called Tecmo Superbowl until the SNES. I could be wrong, but those games were defintely a blast.
I would still want the original rosters to be an option at least though. I think that is what is so fun about Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Super Bowl are all of the old school guys like, Lawrence Taylor, Walter Payton, Mike Singletary, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Christian Okoye, Bo Jackson...I could go on forever. That's the beauty of a football game that old.
Tecmo Super Bowl was an NES version. It came out a few years after Tecmo Bowl for the NES. THey also made an updated version of Tecmo Super Bowl for the SNES. They were all great.
If Techmo Bowl is ever released it will have fake teams and players. First off, EA has an exclusive contract with the NFL so no updated teams or rosters. Secondly, I doubt Techmo or Nintendo is going to drop huge amounts of cash to get the rights for the original players for a $5 dollar game.
