Well, i recently went to a pawn shop and got two Nintendo brand wired controllers for $10 each along with a copy of Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I absolutely loved this game even before now cause i would play it at friends houses, but unfortunately, couldn't ever buy it cause i had a PS2 (I definitely do not regret this decision though. Personally, i think the PS2 is better than the Gamecube. There are so many great games and the online makes it much better. Just let me add that I think the PS3 isn't all that great, except for a few games, and the 360 is okay, but thats why i got a Wii) Anyway, I did regret not being able to play so many of the games, but now i can get all of the games i missed. i plan on getting some like the Gamecube Resident Evils like 1 and 0, Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes (i could get it for PS but id rather get the better graphics version), Zelda Wind Waker, Metroid Prime and Prime 2 (cant wait for Prime 3), not to mention i can FINALLY get VC games now like Super Mario World (had it on SNES, loved it, but i sold it and the console a long time ago), Zelda Ocarina of Time :D, Mario 64, and stuff like that. Also, yet another bonus, is when SSBB comes out, i can play 4 player at a time (i got 2 sets of Nunchuks and Remotes, plus my 2 Gamecube controllers).

If you guys want to suggest any Gamecube or VC games i should get, please tell me!

If you are a fan of RPGs then Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door is pretty good for the gamecube. Plus you can now download the original Paper Mario on VC.

Get Eternal Darkness if you can find it, if you are into horror games.

If you want to try something unique, andyou believe in the "quality over quantity" policy, check out Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat. It's a bit short, but playing a platformer with bongos was one of the more innovative things I've seen in a video game. Also, if you like RTS type games, you might get a kick out of Pikmin 2.

If you're fan of RPG, go for both Paper Mario (VC and GameCube) and Tales of Symphonia.

Tales of Symphonia is a 80 hours of gameplayon 2 disks. I hope the sequel will be equal in terms of hours of gameplay.

I'm in the same situation you are. I went with the Xbox last gen and missed out on some great GC games. Thanks to my Wii, I get to play them after all, PLUS I can get all my old Snes fave!

Currently playin Metroid Prime, just completed Wind Waker.

I was in the middle of RE4, but when I heard about the Wii-make, I stopped playin it so I could enjoy it with the great controlls.

Fantastic!

Tales of Symphonia, Paper Mario, Skies of Arcadia, Battallion Wars, and Fire Emblem are some great GC titles you shouldn't miss.

Sounds like the Wii is a system for you. :)

5 games a GC or Wii owner should have:

Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Zelda: Wind Waker
Paper Mario: TTYD
Pikmin 2

There are many other great GC games of course, but I don't care what you get, as long as you get these games. :D

I remember a kirby game i had on the SNES that had a really fun co-op multiplayer. It also had some minigames if i remember right, Anyway, does anyone know what i am talking about? If so is it on the VC?

And to who mentioned Fire Emblem, i remember my friend loving that game on GBA and i am looking into the version for Wii.
