The 3DS is already receiving shovelware! Why are these two games $49.99?

Wow i was browsing through the gamestop site and something got me worried already about the 3DS. Gamestop 3DS game list mentioned the following games.

1. Pet zombies

2. Dual pen sports

3. Pinball Hall of Fame Willians

I really hope the 3DS doesn't follows the route of the current DS, "The shovelwar route". Changing the topic i can't understand why every single store is listing Dead or Alive: Dimensions for $49.99 and Samurai Warriors. This in my opinion is insane and the worst part is that they are the only interesting games for me at lauch. What do you think about the price of these two games?

I would drop $50 for DOAD.

I still can't understand why people care about shovelware.

Arent all those games prices just place holders currently since 3DS isnt even out? Besides, 3rd party devs probably think people will buy their shovelware for that much (if it is that much) since its a new system and hell its in 3D! lol but, a price drop will probably happen almost instantly for those games since they arent Nintendo 1rst party games.

oh and BTW I just checked ebgames site and the 49.99 price is slashed with 39.99 nowAutoPilotOn

Same thing at Gamestop.com, all the $49.99 games have been "reduced" to $39.99. Here's hoping all the other games currently priced at $39.99 will see a similar price reduction.

Um, Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection is a AA game.

Not your game perhaps but shovelware it is not.

I assume you would pay more for a game on a console though right? So saying you won't on the 3DS cause its a handheld is silly

Assuming that you are purchasing a 3DS, what if all of the games really were fifty bucks? You would never buy a game for your system?

I am not paying 50 bucks for a 3ds game. Thats why I am choosing street fighter over DoA. And nintendo systems always have TONS of shovel ware crap games because small kids and parents that dont know any better grab them up cause they are cheap.AutoPilotOn

I'm glad people are defending William's Pinball.

Anyway, the rule applies that you vote with your wallet. It's unfortunate that shovelware fills the wii and DS shelves where I live, but that's just business.

To the person who said they don't like paying $50 for a handheld game, I had to pay $55 for Mario Kart DS, it's a great game but $50-$55 is the average where I live.
