Yeah, its cool. The battery is the mayor problem for most people. I don't have that problem because I don't play that much and I mostly play in short doses and in my house, so there's always a charger ready.

I'm playing a lot and yes, the battery is short but not that short. It last 4 or 5 hrs to me. I usually have wireless off unless walking around a mall or a crowded place. But for the 3D I use it almost all the time, except when navigating menus and that stuff Regards

Yeah it's cool, I just recently picked mine up (last weekend) and it's pretty sweet. I'm concerned though, some people have reported that the bottom screen has scratched the top screen, and that's a much bigger problem than the battery for me.

One one occasion the frame of the bottom screen did mark the top screen, though to be fair I had the 3DS in my jeans at the time and its quite a squeeze. It wasn't a permenent mark either, although it was quite distinct until I cleaned it off. As long as there is no pressure on the console when its shut, you should be fine.

Hopefully Nintendo brings out a longer-lasting battery that could last for maybe 4-5 hours.

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering if the scratch thing was going to be a big deal, or if it was just people being overly-concerned because they just bought the thing and it just came out. Thanks again, that definitely takes some worry away.

My scratches are permanent now. :| As far as I can recall I haven't had the system under any particular pressure. I'm not happy about it.

I'd say you were quite unlucky, but having read around it seems like this is the case with a number of people. A fair number of people have stated that it has been a result of carrying the 3DS in their pockets, which fits well with my story. The top screen really shouldn't be resting on the bottom half of the console when closed.

Does the top screen feel any looser than it did when you first bought it?
