Well for some reason I was kinda worried about the 3DS screen quality. Like 400x240 resolution isn't all that high, considering it was lower then even last gens PSP, but when I got my 3DS and played street fighter the screen looks very high quality. I found basically no jaggies at all, and it's a 400x240 resolution, which is lower then the Wii's 640x480 resolution but it has a lot less jaggies than my Wii at 480p on my 32 inch LCD, and my PSP. From my eyes the 3DS's screen looks around a 720p 32 inch screen. The resolution is lower, but the screen looks really nice, even though the 3DS's screen is a lot smaller, it still looks surprisingly nice with no jaggies from my experience.

I'm surprised too by how well it looks despite having lower specs.

Your Wii gets jaggies at 480p because games on it weren't meant to run that high. In short, they don't look good because they can't look good. Smaller screens = better picture quality, which is why most games on the 3DS looks so good already.

Actually most Wii games native resolutions are 640x480, and xbox and ps3 games are amazing looking at 1080p which is very in fact the higher the better so I don't quite know what your trying to say.

but if you have 1080p at 20" it is going to look a lot sharper than at 100". so he is saying since the screen i so small there is no need for such a high resolution.

Smaller screens means smaller pixels. The jaggies are there, you just can't see them.

I know that, but 400x240, is still lower then other screens with similar sizes, like the PSP and the Ipod Touch 3g, and from what I've seen, the screen has less jaggies, and looks a lot better.
