The Beauty of Friend Codes!

I really don't understand why people are crying over friend codes because for me they enhance the online experience, who talks to ppl if they dont know them? I'm sorry but not me :? You can chat with people u know!

Let me explain to you the 2 scenarios that would occur with no friend codes

Sceanrio 1:

Player: "OWNED! I DOUBLE TIME PWND YOU! isn't that your 3rd time being malowned?"

Stranger: "Ya I'm a noob at this game just got it yesterday"

Player: "Really?"

Stranger "Ummm...ya."

Player: "Cool"

..........as you can see this is meaningless small talk, and forms the basis of every online gaming converstation in some from, and after u leave the server you never speak again so who cares! If u own someone online they'll know. no need to shout it.

Scenario 2

Player: "OWNED! I DOUBLE TIME PWND YOU! isn't that your 3rd time being malowned?"

Stranger: "Do you want some candy???"

Player: "Ahhh last time I checked you can email candy,lol"

Stranger: "Well I can give it to you at this address...."

........As u can see a rapest is taking advantage of a kid

So this is why Friend Codes are Awsome cause u can simply add ppl u know for sure and chat online, and otherwise who wants to chat online as explained above?

Thats the most pathetic argument for friend codes i have ever seen. For one, NO online gaming system FORCES you to voice chat with anyone you dont want to. Usually you can mute people, put them on ignore, or just turn voice chatting off whenever you want, or simply disconnect your microphone.

Not everyone is out to rape your child through a video game, that kind of thinking is probably what lead to the integration of the stupid friend codes and non existent chat on the Wii and will affect aspects of other things because stupid uneducated people think anything with the ability to communicate with people is going to get their child molested then murdered. Socializing with team mates or talking out strategies is what makes online gameplay online. If you cant communicate with anyone during a game whats the point of playing online why not play offline? Its the same exact thing pretty much. Its no fun playing a game that takes strategy in any shape or form without being able to communicate with the players playing with you.

Also, since when do friend codes automatically make you play with people you KNOW? I cant even count how many "POST FRIEND CODES HERE" threads there are all over the internet, basically its the same thing as playing without friend codes except you have the nice hassle of having to add individual friend codes for different games and having them add you.

im not a big fan of the friend codes at all. when i used to play halo 2 online on my xbox is was so quick and easy to jump into a game really quick without any hassle. and the only time i used my mic is when i played with friends, and even that was easy because i just had to add their gamertag instead of a long digit numerical code. but i still love my wii regardless
