I was thinking about getting another DS game, because it's been a while since I've bought one, and I wanted some feedback. What is the best DS game ever, why did you like it, and why do you think I should get it?
If you don't mind language barriers (in this case japanese, and trust me on this, it's easily overcome through translation guides), Jump! Ultimate Stars is probably the best game on the Nintendo DS (imo of course), it has extremely high replay value (I mean come on, you've got over 50 battle characters to use, with over 800+ different cards to combine and form decks with, and place in combat), it probably has the most awesome WiFi experience of all DS games released at the moment (imagine playing a fighting game from across the world against up to three opponents at once, wOOt), an expansive campaign mode that's thrilling, fun and challenging that always pushes you to obtain crown rankings in order to unlock every world and every single character (over 300 characters from over 40 different mangas/animes from Jump! Japan). Finally, if you enjoy Anime and Fighting games, you'd love this one.

yes, Jump! Ultimate stars owns every single other game out there
The best DS games aren't even out yet. If you wait a little while longer, you could get games like Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, or Zelda. But if you need one now I would say Final Fantasy III. I takes a really long time to beat, has great visuals and sound, and is just so fun. I'm already at 26 hours and only near the end, thats's great for a 3D handheld.
