read my username and thou shalt be cleansed. really, i think that as far as NES platformers go, Kid icarus ties the original Super Mario Bros. If the dev team of Super Mario World made a Kid Icarus game for the SNES (much in the same way SMW was) it would've been epic!!!!!!!!!1!111!111!!!!!!!

yeah. part of the reason its so enjoyable is the sense of satisfaction you get from finally beating it! and going in for a round 2 and completely slaughtering everyone who caused you harm. by the time your 3rd run comes in, only bottomless pits (no, not a pun/play on words) can kill you...unless you lack evasion

that too. i have never played it until it came out on the VC (i've heard about it through a trophy i saw in SSBM) and honestly, its one of the best video game soundtracks ever

The only reason I like Pit is because Kid Icarus is my favorite game of all time. I can't believe you haven't played it, it's on the VC for $5! Get it....NOW! :)a113524c

If you have not played it you wont like it now because it is so hard and really does not convert well over time.
