The best Third party games.

Third parties catch a lot of flak from us Wii owners for making a lot of crappy games. Some deservedly so. That's right Capcom, I'm talking about you.

But not all third party games are bad. A few gems can be found in the pile of dung sometimes. In less than a year, I've played three great third party games that shouldn't be missed: Boom Blox (EA), Zack & Wiki (Capcom, They finally did something right.), and De Blob(THQ)

Out of those three, De Blob is my personal favorite. I can't put it down and hope more people will support this game by buying or renting it and giving it try. Which third party games are your favorites for the Wii?

Haven't played New Blood.

Well i dont have/played that many third party games but out of the ones Ive played i liked: Guitar Hero 3, Megaman 9, Trama Center 1 and 2, Rayman 1 and 2, and No More Heroes and those are pretty much the only third party games Ive played.

So far it has been Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi 3 and Mega Man 9. I dont really have many 3rd party games.Toro_Nev

DBZ was an awesome game. Too bad the online sucked :C

I keep asking myslef "what's so great about De Blob?". I think it's a boring repetitive game.

Anyway, the best third party game I've played on the Wii is probably Medal of Honor: Heroes 2, because it's very fun online. No More Heroes felt very unpolished and Zack & Wiki was just tedious.

I can't name one first party game I enjoyed this year but I enjoyed a pile of 3rd party games.Jazunn

I'm gonna take flak for this but MySims. How can you say Capcom is bad? They are the most underrated developer there is. Okami, Viewtiful Joe. People please buy these games. Because Carnival Games sells more games them then. And that's just wrong.MadSomeone

need for speed pro street cruisn monster 4x4 driver paralel lines manhunt 2 no more heroes medal of honor heroes 2 medal of honor vanguard re4 wii edition zack and wiki farcry vengance red steel wwe 2008 my sims csi house of the dead 2/3 and call of duty 3 some of many games i own

well, dbzbt3, megaman 9, and guilty gear xx accent core.

guilty gear's a pretty awesome fighter game on wii with the right controls, wiimote and nuchuk did not get me.

They've only developed two games from the ground up for the Wii (Zack & Wiki, Umbrella Chronicles), and one of them was a reimagining of past games (Chronicles) . The rest are ports.

That doesn't sound as amazing as you're trying to make them out.

Actually I think Capcom isn't making any new original tittles for the Wii as they are concentrating more on MH3.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance was decent.

Guitar Hero 3 was great :)

Need For speed carbon was fair.

Thank you. This topic just made me realize what I was missing. Crazy I have 7 1st party titles and only 2 3rd party titles (borrowing Carbon).
