Hello, I was just wondering if anyone is sure if the conduit wii will have the following:
- LAN multiplayer
- 16-player online deathmatch
- offline splitscreen with 2-4 players
This topic is locked from further discussion.
I am sorda angry about no split screen. I like to play with friends at my house.
Still I can't complain with all they are doing with this game.
I have waited for so long for a Wii game with LAN. (The Wii would be the easiest console ever to set up a LAN match because of the built in WiFi, but yet not one game features it.) Having LAN would make up for it missing split screen, though it would be even cooler if have they did include splitscreen(even just 2 player) with the LAN.
Â
If they also include bots that would be great. (Cause I know that when TS4 comes to wii it will have , bots, splitscreen and LAN(The GCN verisons where the only verisons of Timesplitters to not have lan, so the Wii with built in WIFI will not suffer that fate IMO)

LAN+ SPlitscreen > LAN > Spit screen multipalyer. In human versus human matches, casue if we are playing LAN I can literally sneak up on you and put the gun up to the back of your head without you knowing it.(that is if the lame radar is not on.) NOt being able to see anothers screen addds to a vs. match.

I too wished there was splitscreen.
I can't find the interview, but they said the two main reasons no splitscreen is one they were having frame rate issues. And it would have gone way overbudget to have a smooth splitscreen.
They said they would not put anything in unless it could be good. Even nintendo has had trouble with splitscreen on the wii as evidenced by MK Wii when you try to play with more than 2 people offline. Choppy splitscreen=not good=no splitscreen.
On a side note in the interview deconfirming splitscreen they said not in this version. This could infer a sequel in the future with splitscreen.
The fact that this game won't have spilt-screen is a dealbreaker for me. There's no way I'm getting buying this game. I do however give Nintendo Credit for coming out with a new first party FPS with online functionality.
