Honestly, just judging by the way those screens look... it looks like it has Xbox graphics. And this isn't a fanboy talking.
I went back and looked at the screens of Far Cry: Instincts for Xbox here on GS and those screens the op posted side by side, and I would have to say they're pretty similar in quality. The Conduit might have fewer jaggies, but that's about it.

Well, from my understanding aren't the graphic capibilities of the Xbox and the Wii practically the same?
If so why should that surprise any of us?
And even though the graphics kind of look like a Xbox game thats not a bad thing compared to the PS1 graphics of other Wii games.
Now the game does look good. I'm still skeptic, though: those screens look a little too good for a Wii game, and even if they are for real I'm worried about the frame rate with all that eye candy.Black_Knight_00
Didn't they say it would run at round 30 fps? I'm no techie or anything but isn't that all you really need and don't most 360 games run at 30 fps as opposed to the magic 60 fps that everyone always brings up?

I'm pretty sure that the Wii is at least twice as "powerful" as a GameCube, which should mean that it is somewhat more powerful than an Xbox.
Anyway, my point was that it's really nothing to be impressed by. Although, as you pointed out, it does look much better than many other 3rd-party Wii games, so I guess it has that going for it.
[QUOTE="wiifan001"][QUOTE="legend26"]nice, they imporved the lighting alot!

High Voltage is both developer and publisher.

It's somewhere on IGN. I remember this because the company couldn't find anyone to get publish it for them so they decided to do it themselves.

no one knows if they have chosen a publisher or if they are gonna just do it themselves (lets face it, they've done a great deal towards advertising already without a publisher), but them.
probably handed it to nintendo, since they've got the most access to everything with them, and nintendo seems to be the only ones doing online bar guitar hero
the graphics look god-forsaken aweful but i'm pretty sure its just the picturesMakedonijo
Thats a tad extreme. The pictures look good compared to other Wii games. We shouldn't, as some people do **cough**Gamespot**cough**, compare the Wii to the 360/PS3.

They have, they just haven't announced it yetThey dont have enough money to publish it themselves. They need to ship it and market it which is out of their league
Advertising on the internet is nowhere near as costly as regular advertising such as Magazines, TV, etc
Doubtul. If Nintendo published it, HV wouldnt be desperatelty trying to get around friend codes. With Nintendo, they have no choice
No. Plenty of 3rd parties have Wi-Fi games as well. Ala Blast Works, MoHH2, Boom Blox, etc[QUOTE="manicfoot"]Seems they've improved the lighting a lot. Its a very slick looking game. I just wish the environments had more detail.fabz_95
Agreed
The walls on shots like these are letting the game down
Other than that everything looks amazing in the game !
That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw them. I was like "The people/enemies (especially the one in the scoped pic, like third or fourth one) look great and so do the guns and shots, but the walls look like I drew them without using a ruler and forgot to colour some of it.
Look like the lighting improve a little, but the environment still look bland, and the guns look ugly.Wanderer5
You just basically hit on the head and summed up my thoughts :P.

The game will run at 30 fps, they garanteed it.
