The Conduit question

Wow im really aggravted and stuck on level 3 called the Enemy at the ending on this game. I most of tried it like 50 times! There is like 4 portals i need to blow up with the boozoka buts its rediculouse how many enemies there are. Did any one have a issue with this part? And can any one help me? I lost my patience quite a lot.

AW man i used to hate that part. but here is what i did:

first turn the difficulty to the lowest for this part

when you fight the drudges, melee them twice instead of wasting ammo and wasting time to reload

dont kill the entire wave of drudges, leave one. i think the drudges only come out when all other drudges from the wave before are dead, and this can help you to avoid getting outnumbered by the enemy

use radiation and frag grenades a lot instead of just the rocket laucher

instead of just jumping a lot, weave from left to right and jump every now and then, it should make it harder for them to get you.

the weapons i suggest you use are the Strike Rifle and SMAW, while stokced with many grenades and radiation nades, then do this: shoot a rocket to take out one conduit, and while youare replacing the rocket, switch to the strike rifle and a few good shots or a charged shot should take out the next one, then use grenades for the rest.

lol, what? the Conduit has you angry right now. I know how that feels, but trust me, there will be a few more objectives that can really piss you off. But only one or two. Like one of them is when you are in the back of the white house, you have to kill these nerve bundles or sumthing, and you have a time limit and its really hard to find where they are if its your first time. A tip: some will be near the helicopter and on the side of the building near the helicopter. actually, i think that will be in the level after the one you were having problems with. So have fun.:D

Dude I hear you. I struggled with this part too. In fact I struggle every time I play it. My bro called me after dying 17 thousand times screaming "F*** that game!!!!". I undertand your need to calm down lol. But jut take your time, learn the location of the medpacks and eventually you'll get it. There are a ew standoffs throughout that are tough. You can do it.

You may want to adjust the difficulty settings. Go to the Pause menu. Then go to "Options", then "Game Options". Difficulty settings should be under that tab. Adjust it to your heart's desires.:)

Ok so far 5 times lol im tryin to kill them all but leave 1 out but im not sure if thats working :? lol

Hey just re-read your post and i forgot to turn the difficulty on low so i did that and it worked i beat it! THANKS!! LOL After this part should i set it back?

I have better advice than what has been provided. You don't have to turn the difficulty down. You just have to be a bit tactical when it comes to weapon and target selection.

Firstly, save your HV pistol for this part (the one you get from the Mason cache earlier in the level). It's the pistol with the red highlights and the laser sight. This gun one-shots the portals and you can fire it very quickly and accurately. Run in, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM. Then use the rest of the ammo to finish off the drudge.

If you don't have the HV pistol from the cache, you can also use grenades to take out the portals. To be more accurate with throwing grenades, this is what I did.

I switched the key-mapping of the grenade and the ASE. So now, I shake the nunchuck to bring up the ASE and I press the "+" button to throw a grenade. To me, this is far more accurate.

Don't turn the difficulty down, just be more tactical! Good luck.

Just run while jumping constantly, its a cheap tactic and it works....

I Tried that didnt go to well and thanks to the user above for the advice ill keep that in mind for the future missions at this point i dont wanna replay this lol =D.

If you uncover the secret weapon for that Level, a handgun with a one shot kill and scope, use that to eliminate the current enemies and use grenades to take down the Conduits.

I no longer need to as I can do it with the Strike Rifle now.

Never really had any problems with the game at all, accurate throws of the grenade + precise distance shooting is all it takes to destroy portals. Also when entering areas, quickly charging the enemy+portals is all it takes too if distance fighting is out of the equation.

cool, im glad to help, and yes you should set it back to where you had it. only set it down if you know you cant do it, then set it back up when you are done.
