I have about $60 dollars I plan on spending this week to feed my Wii Gaming habit. On one hand I am totally hyped for the Conduit which comes out wednesday. It would be great to jump in on the multiplayer while everyone is still new to it.

On the other hand 3 of the games I haven't played that I really want to are all on sale on Amazon. No More Heroes, Okami, and Bully are all selling for $20 dollars or less. I can get all 3 for about 57 dollars.

What do you guys reccomend?

it's 3 on 1 i dont think any game will have any chance unless it's really good. i personally love Bully, Okami and NMH, and would get that over Conduit.

get NMH, Okami and Bully and rent the Conduit when it comes out if you must play it. I myself am a cheap ass gamer and rarely buy games at their full price unless they are loaded with great content. If you don't have Red Steel, get the NMH/RS bundle for 30 dollars. Better deal.

I'd go for NMH, Okami and Bully. I haven't played Bully, but I enjoyed the first two.

Definitely get the three. By the time you finish all of them, you could then find the Conduit for cheaper.

Go with the Conduit, I want people to support games like this.

The reason, if the Conduit sells well, more games like it will be made exclusively for Wii.

The more exclusive Wii games made, the bigger chance there is of getting a AAA game to rival anything on the PS3 and 360. A game as good as Super Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros. Brawl, Madworld, etc.

Bully, Okami, and NMH have proven themselves to be great games. The Conduit has not. Easy choice, IMO.

Okami in and of itself will keep you busy for a good 40 hours.

That is a hard one because three games is pretty sweet (the only one of those that I played was Bully and it was a lot of fun) but I think I have to side with The Conduit... The reason I say The Conduit is because it is a time sensitive game... If you are going to get it you should get it early and play online with everyone else. The other three you can get later on and get the same experience but I cant say that for The Conduit.

Okami by itself may be better than the Conduit! That game was a real good but for me! My total play time was 50 hours and each bit was amazing! I was glued to the screen the whole time! I have also heard great thing from No More Heros...it won Gamespot Wii Game of the year! Anywase i went down that path where i could have got 3 games for 1...let me tell you it was one of the worst decisions i made! I chose the one game when i could be playing 3...when you beat that first one you think...i could still be playing atleast 2 others ones right now..BTW...doesn't The Conduit get Released Tuesday? After all Tuesday is the 23 and I'm pretty surethat is the release date!

I was going to jump on the 3 for 1 but this make sense. Their not going to get any higher in price so why not just live in the present. Enjoy the experience like we all are on Wednesday! (Shipping date is Tuesday, you will be able to buy it on Wednesday) If you choose the Conduit watch yourself I'm coming after ya!8)

There aren't that many fps games on the Wii, so there isn't a whole lot of room for competition. And the game seems popular enough, I am sure it will have players for years to come if it's truly worth its weight. I just saw a commercial for it, actually. Something about finding the truth? Lol, no clue. Could be good tho, guess we will find out soon enough.

Good logic, but the difference here is, The Conduit will most likely be worth every penny of that $50 price tag.

I f***ing loved No More Heroes, it was a completely original title, but after you play through it a few times, there is not much to come back to.

I tried Okami on PS2, got stuck somewhere in about the second half of the game, and just stopped, lost my interest.

Bully, ah yes, the GTA clone in which you play as some kid pulling pranks instead of some dude killing innocent bystanders.

The Conduit will have multiplayer with 13 different modes, that's more than most FPS games on the other consoles. This is a game that you may be playing for quite some time. I say spend the $50 to get the Conduit. I think that this is the closest you can have the Next Gen experience on Nintendo's system.

I guess that depends on what your in the mood for. TC will last a long time with a good campaign (i've only heard good things) and addicting online. The other games you mentioned will also last you a ling time and are also very enjoyable. If I were you i would buy the conduit first since thats what everyone will be laying/ talking about for the next few weeks and buy the other games one at a time when you get the money, Also remember that Amazon will take its time shipping these games to you so you will have to wait for them.

I agree with this completely. The only way we can get more hardcore titles on the Wii is if we continue to support them. Otherwise, developers will reserve the Wii for kiddie minigame compilations and spinoffs, and we already have way too many of those. Of the 4 games mentioned, the Conduit should have best replayability due to the online multiplayer. Games like MadWorld, RE4, and Super Mario Galaxy as well as No More Heroes, Okami, and Bully lack replayability because you play them through to the end and then there's nothing more to accomplish so you end up not playing them again. They're excellent games (AAA as they call it), but if you're looking for the best value for your money, go with good multiplayer games like Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, and in this case The Conduit which have better longevity, especially if you can play single-player against random people online.

Conduit for sure. No More Heroes is nothing special (I'm actually trading in my copy when I buy The Conduit), Bully is just an average PS2 port, Okami is the only game worth owning in that trio.

The 3.

I absolutely loved Bully, possibly my favorite game on the Wii (I dunno, Trauma Center is fighting pretty hard).

Okami is ok, I don't get the immense hype for it, but it's a fine game for less then $20.

No More Heroes has its flaws, but at less then $20 it is totally worth it.

The Conduit may be great (yet to be seen), but I would take the proven 3 over the 1 newcomer.

Unless that one game is system-defining or something you can't afford to miss out on, it's probably best to go with the three quality games at the same price. Since we're not talking about Super Mario Galaxy here, I would suggest going with the three established games here.

Just get the NMH Okami and bully, 3 beats one any day of the week. You might save yourself from a bad game, or wait out the full price and get it for cheaper.

Either way i see it going with the 3 for 1 deal is better then anything the condult can give you. It only has promises. if anything you rent it if you want to play it that bad but dont pay full price if you can get 2 games for a much cheaper price.

HVS stated that the single player would take about 10 hours, that about as long as it takes to play through Half Life 2.

13 different multiplayer modes means that you can try them all to see which ones you like. I am tired of the DM, TDM, CTF type modes, even though they will be in the game, that 10 more modes to chose from. Two of which that we know about is the Bounty Hunter mode and the ASE Football mode. Both of which may result in endless entertainment.

I think it is safe to say that The Conduit will not be better than all three of those games put together but I still say The Conduit because you will want to play it when its still new and everyone is online...

Get the 3 games. Okami itself is much better than The Conduit.

We already know that Okami is awsome, but the Conduit may be better, we will know on Tuesday.

I think it is safe to say that The Conduit will not be better than all three of those games put together but I still say The Conduit because you will want to play it when its still new and everyone is online...

Exactly. I have been hoping the Conduit would be good, but I am very much expecting to be disappointed. However, we know that Okami is one of the best games of last generation, and Bully and No More Heroes are really fun too.

If you are planning on joining a clan or taking the game competitively, then yes. If not, I wouldn't care that much. I don't think its online community is going to die anytime soon.

Thats one of the most ridiculous assumptions i've ever heard. The Conduit isn't going to be half the game Okami was.

wait for the review on GS for the conduit if it scores 8.0 and higher get it because there is no other online FPSs on wii and trust me they are alot of FUN (cough) KZ2, (cough) Halo3!! but if it flops meaning 7.5 or lower get the 3 games and wait for a price drop on the conduit. personally im thinking and hoping it will flop because if it scores high there goes another $50 this summer:?
