Is the controller price 60 bucks. I would like another but if they coast that much I would just buy a new game. So is that the price?

Wait, the Wiimote by itself is $40 USD, $45 CDN. Nunchuks are $20 USD, ~$23 CDN.

You could get Wii Play because it comes with a wiimote so at least you get a little game with it for 10 bucks extra

rechargable batteries and a charger are dirt cheap though.  the price for the wiimote/nunchuck combo is fine if you ask me

I've had the Wii since Dec 17 and have used 6 pairs of batteries. that's around 2 sets a month, not too bad when u play almost daily. but once I can afford rechargable (and want those instead of a game) I'll get them.

They're also rechargeable and it's the only thing you need. No buying the another part of the remote to complete it (nunchuck)

However:

Wiimote and Nunchuk: $60

360 Controller (wireless):  $50

Sixaxis Controller: $50

Wiimote + Nunchuck > 360 Controller > sixaxis.

Hehe I wonder what the redesigned sixaxis with rumble will cost. Sony had to pay Immersion and sony is going to pay a small fee per redesigned controller sold. So I expect the redesigned sixaxis to cost 60-70 bucks.

It is a little on the ridiculous side of the fence.  I only have 2 and I think thats all im going to get, mainly because every game ive played for the wii so far has dissapointed the crap out of me ( aside from Zelda, but thats the same on the gamecube).

You get what you pay for!!! Motion, pointer, speaker and rumble who else has that much in their controller for that price? The remote and nunchuck is the sweetest combo ever (imo).

I think he gets the message, besides as soon as games go online you'll only need that one set that comes with the Wii anyways. Make your friends pay for their own controllers, after they buy their own Wii. : P

Also you have to buy some recharable batteries. Those controllers seems to drain batteries really fast.

I think it's a reasonable price considering it's motion sensored. In Australia, it's $100 for a Wii-remote and a Nunchuk :?
