Try different games and see if they work. Regardless though if it continues to be a problem just call Nintendo and explain the problem. They'll fix you up good._BlueDuck_or just buy the cleaning kit. Your lens is dirty. It can't read brawll properly because it is a duel layered disk.
Yes, it has been noisy. I cna hear the drive pretty good sometimes when I play. Every once and awhile, the drive sounds like it clicks and whirs. I have have already looked up the replacement form at Nintendo.com. One more question. What did you do about your saved internal data for your games and downloaded games.:??I also would like ask, is your drive noisy now? If it is, I wouldn't bother cleaning the lens and just ship it to Nintendo. My drive was noisy and I got frequent unable to read disc errors in AC:CF. Nintendo replaced the drive for me.

what the hell? never heard of thatBrunoBRSYou mean Brawl having disc problems since it is dual layer. Nintendo states that the problem is limited, but affects very few consumers.

Because Nintendo only had to replace my Disc Drive, my saved games and DLC was still on my Wii when I got it back. I did try backup as much as I could onto a SD Card before I sent it in, but more and more games are blocking people from do that. :( I believe your save games will be safe. When I got my Wii back, I saw they tested out the new drive with SSBB. :)
I would hate to hafta ship the wii off. How long did it take for you to ship it and get it back?HyruleanLink
I hate missing my Wii so I take it upon myself to overnight it to Nintendo and then have them overnight it back, with that it's 4 days.
If you don't want to go that route it takes about a week and a half (10 days)
I got up this morning and decided to pop in my Brawl game before we opened presents for Christmas. I played about 3-4 matches perfectly under "Brawl" against the AI. Then I chose to play as ROB and selected a stage. When the stage was loading, the screen changes to a message saying that the disc cannot be read and please refer to Wii Manuel. The problem mostly occurs when I am ROB, but occurs at other times. Should I send the Wii in? For the record, I have this this Brawl disc since it was released in March. This game copy was picked up on the day of release.HyruleanLinkTry other games and see if they work. If they do then clean off the Brawl disc if they don't work then call up Nintendo and tell them about this problem.
A friend of mine has a similar problem. When he chooses certain characters, that error message appears. He said that it's because his game disk is damaged. Maybe you got the same problem. Solution? Probably getting another Brawl disk. Do you have any friends that have the game as well? If so, try with their games.Thiago26792Bingo! I have an update on the Brawl disc error. My sister asked a friend of hers to Brawl their Brawl disc. The borrowed disc plays perfectly and I can play as ROB. I looked at my disc more carefully seeing circular scratches in areas. Looks like the disc.:D
