Expeciallt the lite what where they thinking making the DS smaller , what about people who have larger hands and digits, me I'm 6ft and I barley can play the original DS. It's like buying a pair of shoes that are tight but you still buy them because there hot. Same goes for all other handhelds on the market. It sucks that most likely that it's financial reasons that the design of the DS is more catered to people of a smaller body frame....
It's kind of the way all handhelds are designed. They're not small because they're designed for kids. They're small because they're meant to portable. Try putting an original GameBoy into your trouser pockets, unless you wear combats.
Agreed w/ previous posters. There are tons of people at my office who are that big and manage to use blackberries every day. If you can't even use something twice as big... :|

I have large hands and wouldn't mind a slightly fatter(or at least more ergonomic) DS, thats just because it applies to me though. I'm used to adjusting to the products I buy. (6'5", size 15 shoe, big hands, XXL fitted baseball cap) I suppose if the majority of the population were similar in size to me, the DS would be made to fit. Just gotta make due and get used to it.
As far as the blackberry comment..its all in the layout of the electronic. I've found that I can play longer on a GBA SP(and even the old Gameboy) than I can on my DS Lite before my hands will start hurting. The PSP is even worse than the DS Lite with its joystick located half an inch from the bottom of the handheld.
Of course, just because you're too "big" for the DS, makes it for kids. A deriding title for someone that complains about the inability to use what they choose to speak harshly of.
i have a friend that's 6'4" that's on his DS all the time. suck it up big guy.
