My understanding is that the second day of the event was only open to the written press.

The Nintendo Media Summit was the event.

And I've been wondering the same thing.

The Nintendo Gamers' Summit... it was supposed to be the MEGATON!!!11! for SSBB, MP3, and SMG info, but there hasn't been any info about any of those games since.

really? it happened yet?

well there has been steady information coming about super smash bros, no new characters, but in time we'll see

maybe sites just haven't been able to upload the information since the embargo ended? I dunno, who even said there would be a megaton?

It wasn't really "supposed to be," that's just what all us internets people assumed.  Nintendo has always been tight lipped about their workings, I personally am happy with their reconfirmation that all three big titles will be coming this year.

There were two summit events. One for online which had their embargo lifted and one for print which hasn't been lifted. Gonintendo has links to all that was revealed to the online press. Written press should be trickled out of the following weeks.

It was mostly about the third party stuff such as Crystal Chronicles Wii, Boogie Wii, and other third party stuff.
