All six shown in a better resolution then the ones at the european nintendo site.

the effects such as force lightening needs more work, the character models arecomparable to the previous game on Wii which was made to PSP spec but might employ better animation.

It looks good, but I am awfully disappointed the game will not support Motion Plus.

the images themselves are pretty low-quality, as if they were a print screen pasted on paint. but you can clearly see that the game does not look bad at all. as for no motion+ support, it's just natural that they don't make you hold two wiimotes with motion+ attached to play.

The force lightening looks poor, the stormtroopers will need some diversity later.

Since this version is made by Red Fly Studios I assume it's using the Infernal Engine.

And Motion Plus is no big loss, Lucasarts have a motion plus lightsaber gamedemo so they may be doing something with it.

My guess is that for budgetary reasons, they can't spend the amount of necessary resources on developing that kind of control styIe just for it to be optional. No one, to my knowledge, has used two remotes for a single player at the same time, so they'd be treading new ground. It doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to do, even with Motion Plus, but you never know.

It looks pretty good, if it had Wii motion+ support I'd probably get it for the Wii. But it doesn't so i'm gonna get either the 360 or the PS3 version. Most likely the 360 version.

I'd consider it with motion plus, but since the first one was one of the worst games I've played on the Wii, I think I'll pass.

Bad looking stills that are at a resolution that the Wii hardware can't display?

This game is looking to be even worse then the first one

Needs more work, their comparable to the previous game on Wii which was made to PSP spec.

looks fine. We need TO SEE IT IN MOTION. The previous, the psp one, has a lot of clipping,pop-up textures AND poor textures on walls and ground, very poor lighting effects, very unstable framerate. On stills, it "appears" comparable.Im sure that in motion we will see a better difference. As it is, we cant see any of the new engine features that lucasarts is boasting.

If I get it it will be for PS3, M+ would have been a day one by for me though. The first one on wii was fun, hopefully this is better

Wii Music did, remember Robbie Drums lol. M+ really wouldn't make much sense for this game, its a very face paced game. It would just be M+ powered waggle. If it had a slower pace like Zelda.

I doubt Skyward Sword will have a combat pace any faster than previous Zelda games. While TFU has a speed more in line with hack n slash, its not as fast as a Bayonetta or Devil May Cry, because the force powers slow it down, but it is still much faster than Zelda. Trying to go to fast in SS will probably lead to the controller not picking up the moves accurately, that happens with most Wii games. You go to fast, its hard for the remote to read.

lol and I bet he was swinging like a madman to get that result, As you saw earlier in the video against the scorpion, that approach seems like it will have limited success. Those goblins look to only block in one direction and stand there waiting for you to kill them, unless they add some kind of recoil to Link off blocks, enemies like that will be cannon fodder for that approach. But if the scorpion represents how the bosses will work, that probably wont work, it probably wont even work against the dual wielding Stalfos.

when they block, the result is the same as hitting the scorpion's claw. which is enough to leave room for at least one attack.

Well I know its only a demo and they just wanted people to play with the controls, but I hope it sort of like a fighting game. Where that block causes you to go through a a recovery frame and that the AI is aggressive enough to try and take advantage of it.

Yeah, I never did play the first one, so I didn't even think about that. But it makes me laugh imagining someone playing a fast-paced hack-and-slash type game with Motion Plus. I just picture the left arm going in a fast clockwise motion and right arm going in a fast counter-clockwise motion and occasionally the two hands clash together and throw the timing off and make the character on screen go bonkers because the Motion Plus got uncalibrated by the force of the hit but the player doesn't realize it and then the whole world gets sucked into a blackhole vortex and the Wii explodes.

So yeah, good point.

If Red Fly Studios is making this, I cannot fault them.

They are definitely not allocated a budget that would be anywhere near the price of the PS3/360 versions, nor the actual manpower. The screens look better than the original nonetheless but his outfit sucks.

Multiplayer blew chunks for the Original's Wii version too.

you dont need huge budgets to make a good game, nor a good looking one for that matter. Look at C2.It looks now reasonably great.Im sure beredfly has more budget to work with it than HVS. In fact they are good pushing visuals often, Ghostbusters on ps2 was nice. The engine ,if its infernal, is good. Moreso, the wii version has a much bigger budget allocation than the previous one where it was a mere port from the low poly/cheap textures PS2 system. These are stills from a game we havent seen in motion, expanded and resized from an already sliced image. I said that good footage would clarify our GE doubts about some very impressed reviewers. And i feel the same about this one too.

The budgets no problem a while ago this was posted at GoNintendo:

http://www.gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=127982

It says the Wii version will be getting bigger support due to the retailresponse to the first, it sold over a million copies.

It also mentions same content as HD versions, the Wii screens shown alot of events from the Betrayal trailer and demonstrate that the cutscenes will once more be rendered on the game engine rather then pre rendered. Hopefully they will feature better animation then the original, both motion and facial.

We really do need videos though.

one thing is to make a rail shooter. they just implemented 10 lines. the second player has no health bar and is invisible to enemies, so only the first player is attacked.
