the glow is like a hypnotoad... Nintendo must be waiting until they sell like 100 million units, then they'll activate the hypnotizing effect of the glow, tricking us all. That's why they're so secretive.

Not so sure about the instructions but the tubes are thin, and flexible and can usually be found at hobby stores or you know a local model car shop. Places like that.
