The legend of zelda ocarina of time master quest on virtual console

Hey guys wouldn't it be cool if nintendo put this game on VC, i thought of this because i have zelda collectors and i alwaysliked zelda and al itschallenges:P, but when master quest came out i couldn't get it for gamecube. I saw on gamestop places where they sell it, but i can't go too those places. so what if nintendo put it on VC?

it's just a suggestion, but i wanna now what you guys think about it:D

I saw it a few times, think I even asked for the price and it wasn't sooo expensive, maybe I should've bought it

How much harder is it exactly?

I never got a chance to play it so I'd love it if it came to VC. I've beaten OoT so many times, it would be refreshing to play through it on a harder difficulty with a few new things.

Neat as it would be, it might not be practical for Nintendo since the only one they ever finished was the GC version.MAILER_DAEMON

All dungeons have been changed. Many of them are harder than Ocarina of Time's dungeons. Some of them like Water Temple are complete joke VS their original form. Water Temple on Master Quest has no ennemies at all except some Stalfos and Lizardfos and Dark Link is still there. Fire Temple on Master Quest is shorter.

The Master Quest version of Ocarina of Time was made for the GC, not the N64. And since the Virtual Console only does theN64 & down, it won't be possible to release the Master Quest version. Unless Nintendo decides to update the Virtual Console to expand the library (and maybe the Wii), I wouldn't count on it.

But yeah it would be nice, but not likely. If you need 1, you could carefully try searching onE-Bay or other used Video Game Stores (calling around would be quicker)near you or online.

They could put it on the virtual console. It is actually an N64 game, originally the the game was supposed to be an expansion pack to the original game using the N64DD but as that flopped in Japan and never came out in America the expansion was never released (as far as I'm aware). There's no technical reason they couldn't release it, although I'm sure they'd slap us with an import fee or something. Also for those who haven't played it its basically the same game but inside all the temples all the puzzles are rearranged. The dungeons have the same look but you'll go through the rooms in different orders and the puzzles are different. Its made for people who played the original tons of times and want to spice things up a bit. If I remember correctly the water temple was way easier and the forest templt was way harder. I remember in an interview about this game when it came out on the gamecube they said that they always wanted to release it but until the Gamecube came out with the cheap game discs it was too expensive to put it out. The virtual console service is even cheaper to release games on so hopefully someday it will. But who knows with Nintendo.

Whatever, I only know what's here in the states, I'm lucky enough to be aware of the Tingle's games.

I wouldn't care one way or the other... I got it on the 'Cube! Haven't finished it, though... I will one of these days.

play it on 3ds.

yeah this post was old, before the 3ds was announced :P but i may consider buying one maybe when the "lite" version comes or something
